At Zamzam displacement camp, access to clean water was once a daily struggle. Women and children would walk for hours to fetch contaminated water, leading to frequent waterborne diseases.
Our WASH program installed solar-powered water points, latrines, and provided hygiene education. The camp now has access to safe drinking water within minutes of every household.
“My children no longer get sick from the water. This has changed our lives,” shares Fatima, a camp resident.
