The Food Security and Livelihoods program is the cornerstone of our humanitarian and developmental response. Through this program, we aim to address the root causes of hunger and malnutrition, and build the resilience of communities to withstand climate and economic shocks.

Our Methodology

We follow an integrated approach that combines short-term interventions to meet urgent needs with long-term solutions to enhance sustainability and self-sufficiency.

Key Activities

  • Emergency Food Assistance: Distribution of basic food baskets to displaced and affected families.
  • Agricultural Production Support: Providing improved seeds and agricultural tools, and training farmers on climate-smart agriculture techniques.
  • Livestock Support: Distribution of livestock and provision of animal feed and veterinary vaccines.
  • Livelihoods and Vocational Training: Cash-for-work programs and training on craft skills.
